HotGirlSummer: Last Update

Summer has officially come to a close (at least on the calendar). As you know this was the summer of HotGirl life. I will just say this...#HotGirlSummer has been the BEST summer of my entire life. I will be clear it is not the most fun summer, but the best. You ask, why was it the best? As the summer closes I can tell you more about who I am, where I’m going, and what I’m doing when I get there. This has been a lifelong journey, but the #HotGirlSummer mission completely helped me turn the corner.

Many of us talk about the changes we need to make. Often we do not make them due to fear; fear of anything and nothing all at the same time. But don’t get it twisted I still have plenty of fears, but I am no longer letting them sit in the driver's seat. My #HotGirlSummer was about transformation and authenticity and I have reaped the benefits of this journey 10-fold. In sharing my personal story and connecting with other women through the podcast and networking I hope to give just one person the spark they need to take the next step in honouring how they redefine themselves. Below check out some tips that I share from my experience of self-transformation about honouring that wonderfully unique you.

Tips!!!!!

Do something drastic. Shake up your life, space, or situation.

Be vocal. Say what you mean. Share who you are with others. People cannot get to know you, respect you, or love you if they don’t know who you are.

Learning Boundaries. We all have energy. We are entitled to it. It is ours. You have to protect yourself. Protecting yourself is everything.

Identify what matters to you. You cannot gain the things you want in life if you have no clarity about why various things matter to you. Get a grip on the vision so that you can continue to put energy into it.

You may have to hurt some feelings & lose some people. Give the world a chance to learn the new person you are becoming. You have to be honest about YOU for other people to understand how to treat YOU. Keep in mind that not everyone is meant to go along for the ride. That person in Chapter 4 of your life may not be in Chapter 8. That is okay. You’ve got more things coming your way. Keep this in mind too, you may currently be in someone's Chapter and not be made for a future one. AND THAT’S okay! Learn to love the journey. Learn what you need to learn from it and move on.

Get UNCOMFORTABLE! Let me say it again GET UN-COM-FORT-ABLE! You cannot honour your new self-definition if you are still defining yourself by old standards. It will NEVER work. Honour the way you are redefining yourself. Get as uncomfortable as possible. Within that, you will find out more about yourself than you could have ever imagined.
