Today it has degenerated into a rather social menace and has consistently questioned the very existence of humanity, downgraded bout values, morals and our ability to pass sound and good judgement. Violence against women is often seen as a mechanism for the subjugation of women both in our societies and in relationships. Such violence may arise from a sense of entitlement, misogyny, superiority or similar attitudes.
