This Sunday we had the absolute privilege of welcoming our friend Charlotte Curran to come and teach us on the practice of Sabbath. Our prayer is that this timely message will bring you to a place of rest with The Lord, knowing you are His beloved, in whom he loves to dwell. And that you recognise once more the significance of being set apart as special and holy for Him. 

Taking the first of our Summer Sermons we have Newland McKelvey, one of our elders here at House Church. Newland takes us through Romans 8:37-39 and the truth that we are 'more than conquerors through Him who loved us'. We pray that you are encouraged by this teaching today.

This Sunday we finish out our series on our 'cloud of witnesses' by learning from Daniel how we can live for God right throughout our lives even in a difficult, some would say hostile, environment.

This Sunday we look at another 'hero of the faith', Jonathan, son of Saul. Through his life we will see the importance of living our lives submitted to God's purposes rather than relying on our own limited wisdom.

This week Richard shares that evangelism is simply sharing what you have seen and heard about your faith. It happens most effectively when ordinary people share with ordinary people in ordinary circumstances. Ordinary becomes extraordinary when we step into the authority of Jesus with the power of the Spirit and experience the blessing of being part of someone else’s faith journey.

This Sunday we look at the role of community in the life of a disciple of Jesus by studying some of the 'one another' instructions in Scripture.

This Sunday Chris spent some time helping us think about what Jesus had to say about Prayer. Focusing on Matthew 6: 5-13, he reflected on why we should come before God in prayer as needy, loved children before opening up how Jesus called us to Kingdom centred prayers.

This Sunday we look at how the Bible is a part of building our relationship with God. We consider what the Bible is not, what it is and how we can best engage with Scripture.
