In the late 1800’s a handful of Italy’s piazzaiolos (pizza makers) migrated to New York City bringing with them the recipe for “old world” style pizza.

Each morning, dough was prepared fresh, topped with the finest ingredients, and charred to perfection in a coal-fired brick oven.
