From only a few short hours after the murders Chris NOW had to meet with the Frederick police already inside his house thanks to the quick action of Nicole (Shanann's good friend) who was deeply concerned she had not heard from her friend and was unresponsive. From this point onward Chris had to put on a major game face and try desperately to convence investigators, who at this point were only doing a wellness check and it had not yet evolved into a murder investigation that all was well, nothing was amiss and even if it were HE surely had nothing to do with it. While his poker face was not very good at all it is astonishing how he was able to maintain this for days.
