House of Prayer Church - Blairsville GA

Jesus gave some specific instructions to His disciples before he returned to the Father in heaven. He wanted the disciples to be engaged on a mission to tell the world about Jesus.

The call for the church today remains the same. On mission, telling the world about Jesus.

Main Scripture passage: Acts1:1-11

Every believer has a role to play in the growth of the church.

In this message, we will be looking again at Ephesians 4 where the basis for that statement is found.

Main Scripture passage: Ephesians 4:11-16

Within the unity of the body of Christ, there is great diversity. One of the ways we are each unique is in the way that we have been gifted by God to do the work of the ministry.

In this message, we will look at the variety of ways that God gifts his people to do the things that he has for them to do.

Get ready to discover the ways God is working in you to be used by Him!

Main Scripture passage: Ephesians 4:7-12

Part of the human experience is growth. We are amazed as a child grows in its mother's womb. We celebrate milestones as our children grow up. As adults, we seek to grow in our knowledge, abilities, and character.

This message begins a series entitled, "Everyone Equipped, Everyone Engaged." We want to see everyone growing in their relationship with the Lord, and being equipped and engaged are big parts of that.

In this message, we will see from Ephesians 4, that the foundation for growing both individually and corporately is unity.

As we conclude our look at the book of Titus, we are reminded of our need for salvation, the doctrine of salvation, and the result of our salvation. What a great way to start off the New Year!

Main Scripture passage: Titus 3

We all have faith in something. The Christmas story is a story of faith. The faith of Mary and Joseph to believe what was promised to them is amazing. Today we need that same type of faith for the challenges that we face.

Main Scripture passage:

Matthew 1, Luke 1

Everyone is looking for something to believe in. Everyone hopes for a better future. The wonderful truth of the Gospel is that we have hope for a future through our relationship with Christ.

The hope that we have is not wishful thinking, it is a confident expectation that the promises of God will once again be true because God is truth.

Titus 2 gives us instructions for healthy living. What exactly does that look like? Paul has instructions for women in this passage that we will look at today. Next week we will look at the instructions to the men.

Titus 2:1-10
