So this mix was made for my lil/big man cousin Stephen Bentsi-Enchill on his birthday. It was a pretty cool spin on what is now the streaming era's version of 'No Vaseline'. I really like Kendrick but the peaceful African in me says that he went a tad too far but the Ares in me says that Drake got what he deserved but only time will tell about how hip-hop morphs as Kendrick as the undisputed boogeyman of rap now. I can't wait to see. So this is my form of a salute to Kendrick. Hope he hears it!!!

This is the beginning of the morph that Kanye did from producer to rapper. His emotion, his truth can be felt in this song. Mos Def and Freeway also represent.
