This week we'll be thinking about what a rebellion actually is and examine the threat posed to Henry VII by the wave of dynastic rebellions at the start of his reign

In the summer of 1520, two of Europe's most prestigious monarchs met in the most lavish and extravagant summit between the two nations in history. Henry VIII and Francis I secured an alliance treaty of immense proportions, and immense failure, or so it has been portrayed. To understand how this summit came about, how it was organised, it's outcome and long-term implications, I'll be unpicking the entire story.
