Rev. Mike Landsman speaks on the subject of joy from the stories of Simeon, Anna, and Elizabeth & Mary in Luke 1 & 2. In those stories we see how joy comes from recognizing, encountering, and receiving Christ.

The last Sunday of Advent Pastor Jim talks about the topic of the love of God. He speaks on how love is the fruit of the Spirit and that it is the power of the Spirit working through us to demonstrate God's love.

Pastor Jim speaks on the topic of The Precious Fruit of Prayer. He outlines the biblical model for how to pray according to God's will and to trust in God's timing in prayers being answered.

As we continue through the Advent season Pastor Jim speaks on the joy of the Lord on how joy is not based on our feelings and circumstances and how worship is the key to experiencing that joy.

In this sermon Pastor Jim speaks on the Holy Spirit and how The Holy Spirit expresses the personality of God, expresses the purposes of God, and expresses the power of God.

Continuing the Advent season, Pastor Jim speaks on the subject of peace. Because of Jesus we have peace with God, peace with one another, and peace with ourselves.

Continuing the Advent theme of hope, Pastor Jim speaks on how that hope found in the word of God gives us the ability to overcome worry.

Pastor Jim begins the Advent season by speaking on hope. Humanity's understanding of hope is different from the biblical understanding of hope. Biblical hope is based on what God has done for us in Christ and what he has promised us in his word.

This past Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve, Pastor Jim preached a short sermon of the importance of giving thanks to God for what he has done for us and what he will continue to do for us.

Pastor Joe McKelvey was our special guest speaker this Sunday. Drawing from Jesus' teaching about the Holy Spirit from the Gospel of John, he teaches on how God cares for us-even in the little things- and has sent the Spirit to help us in our every day walk with him.
