Djebali joins Volumo Direct this December to continue the label’s ‘Exclusive Series’, delivering a fresh three-track EP in the producer’s signature groove-driven House style.

Parisian artist Djebali has long been a respected figure in the underground house scene, making his initial mark via releases on Freak n’ Chic and Tuning Spork back in the late noughties before maintaining a steady release presence with his own self-titled label and further releases for PIV, Politics Of Dancing Records and Fuse sub-label, Infuse among others. Here though, Djebali delivers his latest collection of works via the blossoming Volumo Direct - Exclusive Series.

‘Santa Olala’ leads the EP and in typical Djebali fashion offers up a crisp, swinging rhythm section, intricately processed samples, hazy textures and an amalgamation of bass tones throughout. ‘Red Force’ then leans into a more classic House feel with a bouncy, funk-infused bass line, airy chords and resonant synth licks running atop an organic drum groove.

Last up is ‘The Choice’, diving deeper with warbling keys, sweeping strings, choppy vocal samples and bumpy, shuffled percussion throughout.
