Pastor Gregg begins our journey through the book of Romans, Paul’s love letter to Rome. The book starts off with the truth that God’s people are called and set apart. A believer in Christ is strategically placed for a significant purpose. A key to fulfilling your calling is the courage to be set apart. It is through Christ’s power that we can live the Christian life. This letter was to the people of Rome, not just the church, as Paul encourages them that they are loved by God. If you know Jesus Christ, you are saint because of your belief, not your behavior. We are called, set apart, and loved by God not through our own efforts, but through the grace and peace of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Gregg shares wisdom from Paul’s Baptism. Baptism was Paul’s first priority as a believer. He became a Christian and then he was baptized. It is your personal decision as a believer to be baptized by immersion. It is an outward expression of an inward change. It is a significant symbol of the salvation that you received in Christ. Baptism shows a beautiful picture of the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus.

Pastor Gregg Matte shares wisdom from Paul’s time in the desert. The desert is a place of preparation. The desert pushes us from self to service, cultivates trust in God’s power, calms our hearts and increases our faith. If you are in a desert, keep the faith and keep walking, drink the living water of Jesus and realize that God uses the desert to blossom fields of His Glory.

Paul's past was filled with misdirected passion. But when God showed up, Paul was radically changed. God forgave Paul and used him to be one of the greatest Christians in the history of the faith. If God forgave Paul and set him apart in his mother's womb by grace, God can forgive anyone and give them purpose. Paul changed the world because he allowed God to change him.

Jeff Struecker reminds us that we are all warriors in God’s Great Army and our mission is to accomplish the Great Commission. We must have faith and rely on God to move forward with that mission. God favors the people who follow Him. God leads the people who love Him. God promotes the people who proclaim Him. Take the first step in following Jesus, get serious about the Great Commission and pray for those who serve in our U.S. military regularly.

Chip Luter teaches us that Jesus is intentional. Jesus invites us to follow Him, He attracts others, and He declares truth. How can we be as intentional as Jesus? We must connect with outsiders and we must live on a mission. We must care less about selfish ambition and more about the Great Commission.

Dr. Ben Mandrell teaches us that Christians are stronger in their faith when they are in community with others. There is no strong Christian apart from the Church. We need each other. You need other people holding you up and making you strong in your faith. Strong Christians draw near to Christ in prayer, hold on to hope in Christ, and provoke one another in love.

Boto Joseph reminds us that God’s plan to reach the nations is the Church, and the Church is essential for three reasons. The Church is not a human construct but was created by Jesus. Jesus is the founder of the Church and we are His members. And the Church is called to be on mission to spread the Gospel and be God’s ambassadors.

Life is made up of a series of moments and it is important that you cultivate moments that matter. Recognize your humanity and that you are made in the image of God. Be a person of integrity and know that God's way is the best way. Leave a legacy by living a legacy. Jesus' life made us right with God. He took on our humanity, lived a life of integrity, and died in our place to ensure our eternal legacy.

Solomon was known as a wise man and you can learn three things from the wise and unwise choices he made. Wisdom wins the day so ask God for wisdom daily. Tenderness wins the heart so work on tenderness in your relationships. Our focus determines our finish so remain faithful in your walk with God.
