Reaching this very intense part of the year with football season in full swing now, baseball season slowly concluding, and basketball season on the horizon, there was a lot of hype surrounding the city of Houston rolling into the 2025-26 season. Looking back on each league's legal tampering period during the offseason and free agency, wasting no time on contract signings and extensions, Houston appeared to have a very promising future across all 3 leagues in the years to come. However, taking a drastic turn recently as the Astros' playoff hopes slowly slip, the Texans' 0-3 start, and Shams Charania breaking the news that Rockets' Guard Fred VanVleet endured a torn ACL yesterday and may miss the season's entirety, things do not look as promising as they once did for Houston. Regressing a bit, Dan, Chris, & Ari share how they feel about Houston's current teams and their current positions, and which of the 3 could turn their season around before it becomes too late.
