Listen Later

According to the CDC, 107,000 people in the United States have died from drug poisoning related to fentanyl, yet the country fails to recognize it as the weapon of mass destruction that it is. Prevalent substance addiction in the United States is a persistent problem — with fentanyl at the helm of the ship. Lisa Deane, the CEO and founder of Demand Zero, a nonprofit working towards eradicating Mexican cartel fentanyl, joins the show. Lisa founded Demand Zero after losing her son in 2018 from fentanyl poisoning, and she has since made it her mission to end fentanyl’s disastrous toll. Join us as we discuss:
