In this episode, I’m sharing the origin story of my custom name necklace business — and it all started with my little cousin. Her Vietnamese nickname means strawberry, and I wanted to design something special for her.

So, with my dad (a goldsmith), we created a custom necklace: the letter R with a strawberry charm — her first initial and her nickname. That one design sparked everything. It reminded me how powerful and emotional personalized jewelry can be, especially for those of us growing up in between cultures.
