Learn how we can help people experiencing homelessness with Paul Leon and Katelyn Taubman from Illumination Foundation, an award-winning non-profit that provides housing, healthcare, and educational services to the most vulnerable in LA, Orange County, the Inland Empire and beyond.  IF was started by Paul Leon over 15 years ago. He was a public health nurse working on his MBA when a class project turned into a foundation that has helped tens of thousands people turn their lives around. Katelyn is a case manager for Illumination Foundation and her journey from homeless to not just stable, but working to end the cycle of homelessness for others is inspirational.

For over 60 years, Sara and Yvonne have dedicated their lives to helping children, and they are not slowing down yet. Their mission with Childhelp Organization is to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children.  In this episode, John Stamos and I talk to them about how they went from entertainers in the USO to award-winning philanthropists who have helped over one million children.  We also hear from Nicci, someone who went to Childhelp and whose life was saved because of it.  We’ll learn how we can help end child abuse.  For more information please check out childhelp.org.
