Saul Soltero grew up in southern Arizona.  Along the way he was exposed to strict upbringing from loving parents, and his Uncle who was a Arizona State Senator.  At age 8 he met Cesar Chavez.  He went on to play for legendary baseball coach Dave Bingham in college and spent 11 years with the San Diego Padres organization as a relief pitcher, coach and scout.

Sam and Saul visit about Saul's own personal journey into politics, and their shared passion for mentoring and leadership. 

They conclude the podcast with his experience as a beauty pageant judge.
