The funny thing about Tom Brady is he’s normal. In fact he’s more than normal… he was below average. (Let me explain)
When professional athletes are drafted they are “ASSESSED” for jumping ability, speed, arm strength, lateral movement and so on.
See picture below… Tom Brady was average or below average in the measurements all teams look for when drafting a quarterback.
When anyone looked at Michael Jordan out of college he was top of the class in every measurable physically and his competitive spirit was matched by his athletic ability.
(Rare, very rare indeed)
Tom was the slowest quarterback to ever be tested for sprint speed… the slowest ever.
What did he have… was focus, mindset, belief in himself, discipline and great leadership qualities. (Not to mention he was teamed up with the best coach of all time in the NFL)
At 43 Tom Brady is going to the Super Bowl again.
What can we learn from Tom Brady?
For a guy who was “average” who has become the Greatest Quarterback ever and found a way to look, move, and feel better than he did when he was 23 years old is incredible.
He has put in the work, stayed focused on his goals and become something that no one believed possible… except maybe for himself.
Tom being the most important person who believed in his dream.
Focus, discipline, and belief in our goals are lessons we all can take from Tom.
Bryan “reluctantly became a Tom Brady fan” Wisdom
P.S. Don’t let 2021 be Groundhog’s year for you. If you need motivation, accountability, new goal setting… let us know… we are here to help you transform this year.
