CrossWalk Church

How can we find common ground with others? [Acts 17:16-34] | 06.24.23 Weekend Message

Listen Later

Have you ever had friends who got into an argument and you were stuck in between? Sometimes it gets messy and complicated.

Here's the good news and the bad news of trying to help people be brought together. They may reconcile. That's the good news! But you may lose the friendship in the process. That's the bad news!

This weekend at CrossWalk Church as we continue our "Directed" message series we will see how God directed the Apostle Paul to meet the people of Athens where they were.

Paul looked for common ground with them. He observed what they cared about. He invited a conversation and listened to them. In the process he noticed that they were very religious people, but they were looking for God in all the wrong places.

He met them where they were, but loved them too much to leave them there. He shared the good news about Jesus and the hope of the resurrection.

Please join us this Sunday at either our Midtown or Laveen location and learn how to meet people where they are, and share what they need to hear about Jesus.
