Carson Beck has earned the starting quarterback job for the Georgia Bulldogs. Kirby Smart announced Beck as the starting quarterback for the 2023 Georgia Bulldogs after the second scrimmage in fall camp.

This is Beck's fourth year in the UGA program. He has patiently waited his time as he has played behind Dwan Mathis, JT Daniels, and Stetson Bennett IV. Beck could have left for greener pastures in the era of NIL and the transfer portal, but Beck decided to stay at Georgia. Georgia is the place where Beck felt his heart was and also where he felt he could best be developed with the defense that he would face every day at Georgia.

Beck is already a Damn Good Dawg. Now he is QB1 at UGA.
