Hello and welcome to the Copyblogger Podcast. My name is Tim Stoddart. Thank you so much for joining me.
Today’s episode is a bit unorthodox. When we think of content marketing, we typically think of the solopreneur who is writing blog posts, sending emails, and “building an audience.” In the early days of Copyblogger, the phrase content marketing was just being accepted as a common language.
11 years later, even major banks are creating content and generating a relationship with their audience so that they can relate to them on a personal level.
Today’s guest is Amanda Agati, who is the chief investment analyst for PNC bank. I’ve been watching Amanda’s work on Twitter for some time, and I decided this was an important conversation to have.
Amanda is generating great content, frequently getting her voice out there in podcasts, and even publishing monthly video updates. Her writing and her content is generating an audience in an industry that one wouldn’t typically think would have much personality.
The times are changing. As time continues to move forward, we will see content creation infiltrates even the driest and most cooperative businesses.
I loved my chat with Amanda. She is so smart and personable. Even better, she’s an Eagles fan which meant we got along right from the beginning.
Enjoy this week’s episode and please help me welcome Amanda Agati.
