For many modern people, one of the most baffling and offensive aspects of Christianity is the doctrine of Hell. After all, how could a God who is love, send people to an eternity of torture? That just doesn’t make sense. However, not only is the doctrine of Hell something Jesus himself talked about, it is vitally important for understanding our own hearts, living at peace in the world, and knowing the love of God.
