How Did We Get Here?

We are back!!

For those of you who do not know, Branden had a serious medical scare back in July. It was a scary time, but he is back and ready to roll.

While he is still not 100% he is feeling well enough to get back in the studio and get back at it.

After our normal brotherly banter, Branden takes us through the events of his crazy, and rare, experience. We are so happy he is back and we are excited to get this show back up and running.

Thank you to all who reached out and sent your well wishes to the family. It has meant a lot to our family and we can't begin to tell you how appreciative that we are.

Coffee not only has a rich and beautiful scent that is enjoyed all over the world, but it also has a rich history that takes place all over the world. There is so much to this history that we have decided to split it into at least two episodes; if not three.

This episode will focus more on the discovery of the Coffee plant, or at least the seed. Before the legend of Kaldi people who came into contact with the plant had no idea how to truly pull all the best parts from the berries. But was the legend of Kaldi true? We explore this, and many other legends that surround the world's introduction to coffee in the way we know it today.

We discuss the history of Coffee all the way to colonization. Because colonization sparks another side to the history of coffee we will focus more on that in the next installation of this series.

If we missed something, or there is something interesting about the history of coffee that you would like to share, please reach out to us. You can email us at [email protected], or find us on Instagram @howdidwepod. You can also use the anchor link below to leave us a voice message.

While on the anchor link, you can go there to donate to the show. This will help us with equipment and merch that we are hoping to have in the near future.

Thank you all, and we hope you enjoy the show.

Welcome back, everyone! It has been a bit of a gap between the last episode and this one, so the subject matter isn't as thick as we usually like it.

We spend a large part of the episode catching up and then spend the second half of the show talking about the history of remote controls.

The next episode will be a lot more researched based, but we needed an episode to get all of our other conversations out of the way. We hope you enjoy the conversation, and if you want to join in then follow us on Social Media and send us a message!

It's okay. You can turn away from the television for a second. You can get back to it at any moment, but first, let us talk to you about how TV came to be. Here at the 'How Did We Get Here? Podcast' like to better understand the world around us. Nothing is more important to today's world than the TV, so naturally, we want to study its history.

Hello everyone the Reyes Brothers are back to talk about nothing in particular. We wanted to get together before we leave for vacation this weekend, so we sat down and talked about nothing.

We also wanted to get back to our youtube channel, so make sure to visit Justareyes.com to check it out.

Anyways, we hope you enjoy the randomness of this episode.

There's also good old-fashioned brother on brother smack talk words shared so there's plenty of laughs too, not to mention all the attempts of our impressions of the brother pair this episode is all about. Don't miss out on this Super episode!

Let's talk about the history of Nintendo! This week will be part one of a two-part series; with the history of Mario coming out next episode.

Nintendo has brought us many amazing games: Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Kirby, Animal Crossing, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and many others. They have also brought many amazing gaming consoles: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo, Game Boy (and its many iterations), GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and the Switch. We thought it would be fun to look into the history of all these games and systems

We hope you find the information as fascinating as we did. Still, if we missed anything, or we got something wrong, please let us know!
