We explore what led us to start our own company including
- The most common question asked is "how did you do this." Truth is, I dont know. The answer I keep coming back to: we were willing to make a lot of mistakes and, once we jumped, the economy collapsed and we didn't have any choice but to continue
- The driving force was fear of regret. We talked about it often. We were more afraid of ending our careers working for somebody else and wondering 'what if.' It trumped all else, good and bad. If we ended up there, at least we tried.
- It can't be a side hustle. We did a few of those and there are a lot of successes that way. We would have failed. Put aside six months of untouchable cash in case you fail (we didn't- stupid mistake) and then remove the safety net. Your will to survive will surprise you.
