God is a 24/7 God. If you were asked the question, "When do you expect God to be there for you?" how would you answer? Most people have answered, "I expect God to be there whenever I pray and whenever I need Him".
God promises to be there. He uses words like "always" and "never" to describe how reliable He is. "You are the rock to which I can ALWAYS go" and "NEVER will I leave you, NEVER will I forsake you".
But if you were asked the follow up question of, "When do you worship God and when are you there for Him?" the answer typically is "on Sunday for an hour" or "When I feel like it" or "When I can fit it in my schedule".
Can you imagine dating someone and always being there for them and getting an "I'll be there when I feel like it" in return? How long do you think that relationship would last?
This week as we begin our new message series "Not Just on Sunday", we will see the incredible blessing it is to have Jesus at the center of one's life.
Living a life of Worship is something God wants for you. He wants you to be able to enjoy His presence and counsel and protection and love and mercy and strength every day. God wants your relationship with Him to be meaningful.
