Getting old. It’s something that none of us really want to deal with. We don’t want to think that we might be a burden to our family and friends, we don’t want to think that we might be spending time in a hospital. We want to think about growing old gracefully. But what if that’s not the case?
Ageing is one of the top challenges our economies face. As the baby-boom generation reaches retirement there will be fewer workers for each pensioner and so, a greater strain on funding.
According to some research from the National Statistics Department Malaysia will become an ageing population by 2021 - What do we need to do to help cope with this?
