We have all heard of the term "Self Care;" especially with its ubiquity on social media. Charcoal facials, anyone?! 
However, has self-care always just been a market catered to our regular pleasures and indulgences? This week, Parita and Edwina discuss the range of acts and motivations that are regarded as self-care. From having honest conversations to tending to your flat feet; they discuss how self-care can be challenging, repetitive- even boring. But they also explore how making efforts towards caring for oneself can sew long-term benefits such as growth, fulfillment, and discipline.

Also, let's be understanding when we see other people taking time for themselves to work on their self-care. We can all create a culture where self-care is not just something that we ourselves are responsible for to ourselves, and approach it as an encouraged necessity for our community to thrive.
