In this episode Sally talks about the self-care involved in knowing where she best thrives and the importance of asking herself the question, "is this place / person good for me?".
She talks about the act of filling her emotional and physical well, so that she has something to draw from when she wants to help others or meet the needs of her family and friends. She says that in taking care of her needs she is able to take care of others from a place of fullness and health. "There is nothing wrong with this level of self-care", Sally says.
Ultimately the core questions are: where do you thrive and what can you do to make sure you get to that sort of space and stay there?
