How Does Attachment Theory Effect Our Relationships?

Listen Later

Attachment theory is something I have found to be very interesting and helpful in understanding some of the dynamics of my relationships. In this episode, I explain what a secure, anxious and avoidant attachment look like in a relationship. It's important to remember that although some of the qualities may sound familiar, no one person's experience is the same and all I want is to just open up the conversation around what we expect from ourselves and others in our relationships. Knowledge is power and the more we can educate ourselves and become more self-aware, the healthier and stronger our relationships can become.
If you're interested in knowing what attachment style you could be, take the quiz I've linked below (it's was the easiest and quickest one I found you could do). If you want to know more (because I know I whizzed through a lot of the info in the episode), have a watch and read of the other two links if you want to know more.
As always, let me know your thoughts because I always love to have a chat! Leave a rating or review (or both if you're feeling friendly) and follow me on Instagram @progressnotperfection_pod
