Laura Babcock, President of POWERGROUP Communications joins us to offer analysis on the latest developments in the Greenbelt scandal at Queen's Park. The RCMP has officially launched a criminal investigation into what the Auditor General called a "corrupt" process that led to the province's decision to remove protected lands from the Greenbelt.
Will that investigation extend into Queen's Park's decision to extend municipal boundaries - effectively removing protected farmlands from the Greenbelt. It's become a major issue in Hamilton. Laura says City Council has been pushing back on the Ford plan while Mayor Andrea Horwath has effectively been on the sidelines watching this unfold.
