National Cyber Security Council is an apex body, which functions with state level and lower level cyber security bodies. This body is headed by retired three star general Lt. General Rajesh Pant.  The main functions of the National Cyber Coordination Centre is coordination, developing awareness among all the agencies, creating threat assessments and capabilities.
