James Aspey has been experiencing unbearable pain, related to serious injuries he’s suffered for over a decade. But he found a miraculous cure: getting off social media.
This conversation went in an unexpected direction. I wanted to have James on to discuss double standards in politics. Why are we so open to politicians ignoring the moral calamity of animal abuse? But the discussion turned to a more fundamental question: what is the true meaning of suffering in a world filled with so much violence and pain? And how do we create a world that provides peace and meaning to all sentient beings?
