Henry Ford had a global vision of making transportation practical and affordable. This led to developing the moving assembly line and mass production techniques of the automotive industry, which set the standard for worldwide industrial practice in the first half of the 20th century.  

Henry Ford soon introduced the Model T, which put the world on wheels with a simple, affordable and durable automobile, which became one of the best-selling vehicles of all time, and arguably the most famous car in the world.
