A desk job absolutely suits some people, but it's never suited me. After sitting behind a desk for 9-years, I unknowingly gained a ton of self-reflection. Today, I’m incredibly thankful for all the desks I’ve sat behind. Thanks to working in corporate America, I now know that after the 6-month honeymoon phase wears off, I quickly become disenchanted when I’m not 100% invested. Thanks to this realization I’ve lost jobs that I’d never wanted and gained the career path I’d been wanting to create.
