Rejected, yet Chosen by God

How Idols Distract You From Pursuing Purpose

Listen Later

In this week's episode I talked about how idols kept me distracted from pursuing purpose. I discussed how twin flames, angel numbers, and Oshun were idols of mine while I was in the occult, and when I gave my life over to the Lord, some of the idolatrous practices followed me. Then I began to make idols of prophetic words and people like Sarah Jakes Roberts. I talked about how these idols stole my time and attention away from what I was actually supposed to be focusing on; they not only distracted me from my purpose and led me down the path of destruction, but they also hindered my growth and accomplished their mission of keeping me stuck for a season.

Scriptures Mentioned Throughout the Episode:
