February 25, 2025 “I grew a baby with my mother’s womb”
After a life-saving hysterectomy following the birth of her daughter, Kirsty Bryant became Australia’s first uterus transplant recipient.

The donor was her mother.

Less than a year later, Kirsty welcomed a healthy baby boy… grown in the same uterus she was!
