Monsoon 2023 was drier than normal for most of northern and central Arizona, in some cases much drier. The U.S. National Weather Service-Flagstaff recently put out a summary showing rainfall totals for Monsoon 2023. How did your area measure up? For the most part, northern Arizona measured in below the average amount of rainfall during the monsoon with just a handful of places landing at or above average. Places that landed in the at or above average included areas in and around the Grand Canyon and north-eastern Arizona. Some of the lowest rainfall amounts were received in Bagdad with 1.99"...
