The concept that "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" has been implemented across China for the past two decades, with local models developing organically according to the unique resources and needs of each area. In this episode of "Discovering Green China," CGTN's Huang Yichang travels to northwest Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, where former mining pits have been transformed into thriving vineyards. This land, once deformed by mining in order to sustain its inhabitants, is now healing – and nourishing – by the cultivation of vines.
