On January 6, 2021 a group of Trump supporters committed a heinous act of domestic terrorism against the Capitol building. As Americans, many of us are deeply disturbed by the historical event and as Black Americans the pain cuts even deeper. There is no doubt we will read about this in our children’s history books, but where do we go from here as a country?
