NO. I can’t. Sorry! Maybe next time.
This week’s episode of The Second of Strength Podcast is all about saying NO so that you can say YES to you.
One thing I love about the community of people who listens to this podcast, follows me on Instagram, and invites me to speak in schools and events is that you are ALL so kind. You are just good people. Sometimes, that means that we are doing too much for others and limiting our own personal growth. It’s true.
The more we say yes to everything else in our lives, the less time we have to work on us and our pursuits of happiness. To be clear, I’m not saying don’t be kind and I’m not saying don’t help other people. I am saying, be careful where you spend your time and energy because it can drain you to the point that you won’t be able to give to yourself.
If you are a battery that has only so much charge to help charge others, it’s important that we poay attention to when that pbattery is on E because we won’t be able to help others.
This episode will help you evaluate when “NO” is the right response to others.
