      • Gossip: the sharing of personal or negative information, either true or false, about someone else without righteous intent.
      • Sarcasm, etc.
        • John 19:3 – Sarcasm directed against Jesus.
        • Judges 10:14 – God uses sarcasm to show the foolishness of their actions.

        • All sarcasm is not sinful. The intent behind it makes a difference.
        • Matthew 12:33-37
        • Ephesians 4:29; 5:3-5 – Use words that will build people up.
        • Colossians 3:8 – Put aside abusive speech.
        • James 3:9-10 – We must be consistently good, no matter who we are talking to.
