Segments of Singapore’s migrant and foreign domestic worker population remain vulnerable to various unpleasant experiences that can threaten their livelihoods. One such worker was the target of apparent “loan shark” harassment but a series of unfortunate circumstances led to his deportation to Bangladesh.
