Continuing our collaboration with Paul John Dykes of A Celtic State of Mind, we take a closer look at what Celtic Park could become - if only there was the vision to make it happen.
The stadium’s footprint holds enormous potential. Yet, as with many aspects of Celtic at the moment, there appears to be a greater focus on simply making do with what we have, rather than exploring the exciting possibilities that could come from real investment and development in the ground and surrounding areas.
This lack of forward thinking is one of several factors contributing to the growing disconnect between the club and its supporters.
We also explore the ongoing communication issues that continue to frustrate fans—an area where many again feel the club is falling short.
Are we witnessing a serious lack of vision and ambition at Celtic right now? Where is our modern-day Fergus McCann - the kind of visionary who can lead us into the next 5, 10, or 15 years and beyond?
This is Part 2 of our two-part collaboration between Celtic Exchange and A Celtic State of Mind. If you haven’t already, make sure to check out Part 1 for the full picture.
