The Coalition are considering taking a policy to the next election which would see beer become cheaper. 

It comes as publicans warn the skyrocketing cost of a schooner is pushing Australians to drink in unregulated environments, including at home, driving up the risk of bad behaviour.

Luke Grant chats to Nationals Leader David Littleproud to find out what changes the party intends to make to the beer excise, which is increased twice annually to the Consumer Price Index, and what he expects to take place in his meeting with the Australian Hotels Association tomorrow.
