You don't have to be an astrologer or a "new age" person to

Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) always falls on the New Moon. According to the Zohar, the spiritual text of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), Rosh Hashanah was never meant to be only for Jews; it is for all of humanity.
