This episode was inspired by a conversation with a friend of mine.  We were reflecting on our leadership positions within the federal government and our beliefs on leading others. 

It’s highly important to me, to be a person that empowers others and so I’m gonna give you a little insight into our conversation but ALSO what I see on-line that is sometimes unintentionally disempowering.  In this episode I talk about:

- hierarchy, rank or equal respect for all

- why money is a really poor reason to respect someone

- the three things that I’ve seen lately on line that I think is COMMON but also disempowering in the language

1.  Assuming someone misunderstands what you are teaching them
2.  Calling someone a “baby entrepreneur/coach/employee”
3.  The posts that yell “Read that again” as though we dont’ grasp it the first time.

When we can respect someone else’s brilliance, we also shine brighter in the process.
