In life, there are many important, yet temporal, things that pull on us and use up our time — keeping appointments, paying bills, handling responsibilities, following social media, discerning cultural voices…you name it! 

In addition to living in light of these temporal things, we also want to live for the more important eternal things — things that will matter a billion years from now!

So, how do we keep an eternal perspective where “the main thing is the main thing?” Jesus told us how:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
