John Sterling is a Noncommissioned Officer in the U.S Army and is entering his tenth year of service where he presently functions as a Military Intelligence professional. Recently, John was given the opportunity to transition from the military and serve as Chapter Coordinator for Merging Vets and Players, Atlanta. In this role he is able to fulfill his passion for helping military members and athletes address the unique challenges of transition as they “take off the uniform” and enter a new chapter of life.

John also works as a behavioral health consultant with student-athletes of the Peach Belt Athletic Conference and advocates for mental well-being along with serving as a Master Resilience Trainer in the U.S. Army where he operates in a similar role with military personnel and their families. 

John is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Liberal Studies and a graduate of the Applied Sport Psychology program from Capella University.

John has been married to his wife Suzanne for 27 years and has two children (McKenna 21) and (Garrison 18).
