Now that cuffing season has commenced, I wanted to do a solo episode to talk about the value of being single. I speak about how earlier in my life being single felt like something to be ashamed of.

In this episode, we’re flipping that shame on its head.

My journey to learning how much of a gift being single is wasn’t a short one- I recap the social factors and personal aspects for me that made being in a relationship the most important thing in the world. Obviously, my perspective has changed over time. I came to realize all of the positive changes in my confidence, self-esteem, friendships and romantic relationships.

In therapy, one of the most helpful and important things you can do is find a name for your feelings. Hopefully this episode will do that for you, push you to challenge its hold on your heart, and finally make you able to enjoy whatever phase of life you’re in.
