DJ started buying and reselling sneakers to make money to buy more sneakers. DJ was successful in growing his business and making connections. He met Omar Eltakori and started documenting his processes, and his social media blew up! Justin and DJ met at a video conference and became acquaintances as they run in the same circles and both love cool sneakers.

DJ was born and raised in Portland, headquarters of Nike and Adidas, thus started his love for sneaker culture. In kindergarten, he got in trouble for not sitting crisscross to keep his shoes clean! Justin relates as he reminisces the story of how he got his first pair of Jordans.

You can't compare yourself to others on social media. DJ shares how he found Ryan Pineda’s channel when they both began social media around the same time. They had similar growth and faced similar trajectories. But DJ knew that he and Ryan are in very different audiences and are in very different markets.
