Integrating the habit of exercising daily is vital for self-care. It benefits your performance in other areas also. Besides the widely known advantages of exercise boosting your energy, while the brain releasing happy chemicals like endorphins that trigger a positive feeling, there is also another way your performance and exercise intertwine - and you can use this to your benefit, if you’ve previously struggled to accomplish something you’ve been trying on multiple occasions, to no avail. I’m talking about a nifty combination of purpose, habits and inspired action.

Hi, I'm Jojanneke, the founder of Brave Changemakers, partner in innovation methods and performance mentoring. I help people achieve worthy goals that instigate change, with resilience, creativity & empathy. At TEDx, I spoke about building a life for myself after losing my parents when I was fourteen years old. I wrote two books: 'Live Your Talks' (on how to prepare for a TEDx talk), and 'So, You're An Orphan Now', which is an autobiography with an educational angle. I founded the Dutch NGO WeesWijzer.org, which advocates for orphaned kids in the Netherlands, and helps them build a better life for themselves. I also work for TU Delft University of Technology as a digital strategist.
